A brief information about our association

Mount Hagen District Sports Association is a new sporting association that was established in 2015 as a sporting body for the district of Mt Hagen in the Western Highlands province.

The association's main aim is to promote sports within the 19 sporting codes which are:

• Taekwon do
• Paralympics sports
• Weight Lifting
• Power Lifters
• Athletics
• Basketball
• AFL
• Touch Footy
• Golf
• Squash
• Cricket
• Netball
• Kick Boxing
• Boxing
• Soccer
• Body Building
• Dart
• Bowling
• and Rugby 9’s within the Hagen district.

This is to introducing better sports management, youth involvement, training and development in Council ward and the Local Level Government (LLG). By doing so, we are milking the best athlete’s within the Mt Hagen district to represent the District, Province and Papua New Guinea.
