There is lack of sport within our council wards and LLGs and the establishment of this Association will deter that and provide council ward and LLG to have move sporting activities and particularly revive sports within the district. 

The Hagen District Sports Association will be vibrant to involve the 20 codes and also make awareness in providing the district with many sports as it can, to have our youths change their standard of living and to have an active and healthy livelihood. 

Sports can reduce the rise in drugs and alcohol epidemic and provide youth with discipline, life skills, decision making skills, team work, enhance physical abilities and widen interactive in social activities. 

Sports Administration skills are lacking within each codes administrators and this Association’s aim is to make sure that all sports administrators are trained and developed to run codes to their expected standard and latest updates in sports science in line with their National Federations and International standards.
